Ok so here's how it works – you get to learn all kinds of fun stuff about me...well fun? Hopefully!

The Honest Scrap works like this. I will list 10 true things about myself and then tag 10 more blogs to go through the process. So, let's get started. (HMM gotta think about whom I want to tag, it's so fun learning new things about awesome people! I am so proud to be part of the book blogging community, it's an amazing thing!)
So anyway here's my 10:
1) My name is Jennifer Lynn – alas, I am one of 10,000 of them in the world today...a VERY common name! I often feel as though, with the sadly un-unique name, I am somehow as un-unique as it is. Hence the reason why I go by Jenn – with 2 n's – that's sorta unique, maybe? My name before I was married was Jennifer Lynn Thompson – LOL there was like 4 of us in my high school alone. ACK I hated that! No one has EVER though of a nick name for me other than Jenny (which I HATE btw).
2) I am a photographer – I own and run Fingers To Toes Photography. I have always been “artsy” I suppose you call it...into drawing, writing poetry, and photography, ever since I can remember. Fingers To Toes Photography has been “open” for about 1.5 years now...I LOVE what I do, 95% of the time. I can set my own hours which is VERY nice. Though I HATE the marketing part!
3) I am a single mom – I have 2 amazing kids...Aubrey whom helps me with the blog is 10 (going on 25 I swear), and Zachary is 6 (he's my shy little man). I have been single for quite a while, 6+ years actually (long story...if anyone wants to hear LOL).
4) Obviously books are quite a passion, but for me so is music – I have TONS of stuff on my Ipod, from Classical, to rock, to pop, to new age! I love it all, my mood dictates what I am listening to! Music sets a “tone” with me, I feel the music...If that even makes sense?
5) I am a flower, candle and incense freak – I have at least 50 candles around all the time, and burn incense at least once a week! I have several plants as well (most of them are ferns, but one rose which is even blooming right now.) Smell is really important to me – hmm not sure why!
6) I live near Washington DC – People often ask me, how close are you to the city? Well, I tell them, it depends on the time of day. Since it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to get into the city all the way to around 3 ½ hours...usually that makes people freak out! Gotta love traffic! (I both love and HATE living here – I pray one day for a quiet country life, honestly.)
7) My daughter has traveled around the world WAY more than I have, her dad lives in Germany now, and she's been to Germany, Paris, London, Holland, Netherlands, Berlin, and Venice – already, I live vicariously though her (and miss her like madness when she's gone all summer).
8) I have one sister, we are 16 months apart in age. I love her to the depths of the oceans and she's the one person in the world (besides Zachary) who knows how to push my buttons. So while we get along like bud's 90% of the time – there's that 10% that, well – LOL you know if you have siblings!
9) When I was in high school, while I should have been devoted to learning my chosen “language” of Spanish – I failed miserably. Instead learned how to Sign, via my church! It's really an amazingly beautiful language, sadly I don't remember all that I learned, I hope one day to possibly take it up again...maybe even with Aubrey.
10) I am a HUGE fan of Unicorns! YEP...honestly ever since I can remember. I have always loved them...I even wear one around my neck that Aubrey, at the age of 3, search for. (From what I am told via my dad – Aubrey came to him telling him that she wanted to find a necklace for me, with a Unicorn on it, for my Christmas present that year. They searched, from what he says for over 3 months till they finally found one that Aubrey was sure was the “right one.” - Not like you can find a unicorn necklace just anywhere!) - I treasure it always, and never take it off...sadly it's loosing a bit of it's definition – but I don't care!
Now...to nominate, 10 amazing bloggers, whom I can't wait to learn more about...(all of you ladies are amazing thank you for helping introduce me into the great amazing world of books, and blogging!)
The Crooked Shelf (Can not wait to see what Carla has to say)
Mundie Moms (this is the very first book blog I found)
Bookworming In The 21st Century (2nd book blog I found!)
The Story Siren NO idea why this one did not show up, but UGH - sorry! :)
