I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder - Review

While I was at the book store when I picked up Going Too Far, I also picked up I Heart You, You Haunt Me...it was not until I got home that I realized that this book and Chasing Brooklyn (a book I am very much excited to read), share the same author, which made me even more excited!

Anyway, I picked it up, the same way I picked up Going Too Far, I liked the cover...when I read the back, it drew me in...and as soon as I got finished with Truly, Madly I knew this was the one I wanted to pick up.

It's not at all what I was expecting, it's written almost in verse, a little like a poem...I was worried, though I had no reason to be at all - it's beautiful written, and though Lisa did not go into as much detail as one might in a "book - book" written in the traditional sense, it did not leave me feeling a bit lost.

I felt for Ava, and loved her as a strong lead character. Her voice shined though the worlds - and I was led though the beautiful story, with the ability to add my own bits, to the story...forming the "background details" within my own imagination...which was refreshing and beautiful.

It's tough to describe I Heart You, You Haunt Me only because it is so short, that giving away anything would take away from the beauty of Ava's story...so I will leave you only with the synopsis for a description.

I would like to also add that, if you have not picked up a book written by Lisa Schroeder your missing out, her lack of description some might call a down fall, but I never could...like I said earlier, it allowed me to add my own description, envisioning the world in which Ava lives.

I Heart You, You Haunt Me, is a hauntingly beautiful love story, sorta – worth the read!

I give I Heart You, You Haunt Me a 5 mushrooms and I can not WAIT until Chasing Brooklyn gets here, though now, weeks after I read this one - it's here and been read - review to come ASAP - and I loved it JUST as much as this one!!
