Music Monday is brought to you by Book Crazy (AKA. Me), we work on show casing other bloggers! Our goal is to help you get to know them, though there blog and music. If you would like to be apart of Music Monday please email me, or visit our Music Monday page for more information.
This week we are lucky to havem Elizabeth or titania86, with us! She comes to us from Fishmuffins of Doom. We are so happy to know more about you Elizabeth! :)
What is your blog about: It's about book reviews, movie reviews, graphic novels, music, zombies....anything I like or I'm passionate about.
Interesting things about your blog we might not know: I try to showcase books, movies, and music that aren't well known to do my part to get it out there and get other people to watch, read, or listen to it.
What, if any, influence has music had on your blog: In my reviews for books and movies I pay close attention to the role that music plays. I also have had some posts just dedicated to music.
What about on your life: Music has had a huge influence on my life. I was inspired at a young age by two very musical films: The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Phantom of the Opera (from the '40's with Claude Rains). These films really gave me an interest in music plus my mom played a huge variety of music in the house all the time. So I took piano and flute lessons from middle school to high school. Then I went to college and focused on both music education and literature. I want to teach music because of how the music teachers in my life influenced and inspired me.
How often do you listen to music during your average day: I listen to music most of the day: when I drive, surf the net, read, work, etc. At work, I need to listen to music or it makes me uncomfortable and extremely bored.
What is the one song that, if your life was a song would define you? It's called Up Up Down Down by Kirby Krackle. The plot of the song isn't what defines me (although I am a nerdy fangirl who likes comic books), but the happy cute sound with the initially romantic story that takes a turn towards craziness at the end.
What's your favorite song ever: I don't think I could choose just one, so I'll choose two.
1) The Bed Song by Amanda Palmer
2) My Eyes from Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long blog
