This week we are lucky to have Kari from A Good Addiction - I am also lucky enough to have Kari as an affiliate here at Book Crazy - Kari is an awesome blogger, tons of fun and I hope to be a good friend!



What is your blog about: My blog mostly focuses on YA books but some adult titles make their way in. I also pimp my dog out on there, much to his dismay, and try to spotlight small bloggers that people don't know about. Sundays I correlate my blog to my book forum and provide a way to link your reviews to whatever that week’s books are. I also give random updates on my own novel writing adventure because frankly, sometimes I just need to brag. =)

Interesting things about your blog we might not know: My dog is cute? Otherwise, I don’t know. I am generally pretty open and just… say what’s on my mind.

What, if any, influence has music had on your blog: Not really any on my blog.... I don't even have one of those music player things on there because honestly, they annoy me. Here you are, minding your own business, checking out a blog and BAM! Random music! Then you have to find in the midst of all the stuff that usually clutters sidebars the little player to turn it off, all the while missing whatever music you had on... yeah, they peeve me more than anything. (Gotta agree with you there Kari - ME TOO!)

What about on your life: On my life.... probably a lot. It doesn't matter what kind of mood you are in, what you are doing, what you are going through etc, you can find a song for everything. I used to go to concerts all the time and while I don't really anymore, I still listen to music often.

How often do you listen to music during your average day: I listen to my Ipod pretty much all day at work, plus my lunch hour, so there's 9 hours... at home, my time is split between TV and music but I pretty much have to have background noise all the time. I can't stand just the quiet.

What is the one song that, if your life was a song would define you: Right now, I think I will have to go with Voices In My Head by Stephen Lynch. The novel I am working fervently on is constantly in my head- I swear there's voices in my head right now, particularly my main guy in this one. He's way persistent and talks and gives me inspiration at random and sometimes inconvenient times. There's a few others up there too... and when I get that distant look on my face, you can bet I'm talking to them. =)

What's your favorite song ever: Favorite song ever... that's a toughie... for bands, it would be Evans Blue, Breaking Benjamin or Incubus... but song... right now, let's go with Quote by Evans Blue. Or Beg. LOVE those songs. Or maybe even Dear Agony or Anthem of the Angels by Breaking Benjamin.
