Today we have with us the amazing, Emily from What Book Is That?

What's your favorite thing to blog about: (besides books)
  1. Fun things on YouTube!
  2. Issues relating to teaching/learning/book politics- I've written about sex in young adult books, the role of libraries, required reading lists- I'm looking to write more of these posts.
  3. Causes and charity work- I love contributing to other people's projects and helping with publicity as much as I can.
Name 3 interesting things about yourself no one knows (or not your fellow bloggers anyway):
  1. I could eat macaroni salad every day for the rest of my life, easily.
  2. I hate pickles. Hate. Them.
  3. My current roommate is a small orange cat named Maddie.
If you could listen to music all day long, which 4 albums would keep you most company:
In no particular order
  1. The Beatles- Let it Be (Naked, not the original)
  2. MC Frontalot- Nerdcore Rising
  3. Jonathan Coulton- Best Concert Ever
  4. The Grateful Dead- Shakedown Street

What's your favorite song/book right now:
Favorite book of the moment is Masked by Moonlight by Nancy Gideon. Favorite book ever is Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates by Tom Robbins.

What's the one song that your embarrassed to say you loved as a teen?
I went through a phase when I was in early elementary school where I thought "Achy Breaky Heart" was the best song ever. Thankfully, it passed. I had to pick that one because I'm not ashamed of anything I liked as a teenager- my tastes are pretty much the same now.

Are you one of those people who sing in there car? Do you dance too?
Yes and yes. Maybe you've seen me!

Lets say your having a dinner party, the guest list is up to you, living or dead – but it has to consist only of “artistic” people (IE musicians, authors, painters, photographers ect.). Who would you want to invite, what would the event be like: (IE Chaos, formal, 80's bash ect.)
This is a surprisingly tough question! I know one thing, the event would be really casual- lots of good food and drinks in abundance. I think I'd want to invite Jackson Pollock and Johanna Wright (who does amazing paintings, and she's on Etsy!) I'd also want to invite Tom Robbins, my favorite author, and as for anyone else, I'd have to think about it! Maybe they could just appear as I thought of them. Hey, this is my dinner party!

If your 5 year old nephew came to you and asked what
“suprcalifragilisticexpialidocious” was what would you say:
Mary Poppins is a good movie, isn't it?

Thank you so much Emily for taking the time to allow us to learn more about you! Be sure to check her out atWhat Book Is That? She's got some AMAZING reviews!
