Once Upon A Read-a-Thon - Mini Challenge

You're all signed up right? For what, you ask? The Read-A-Thon going on from today till Wednesday!

That's right, our friends; Lori over at Pure Imagination, Candace at Candace's Book Blog and Angela at Reading Angel are hosting a weekday read-a-thon!!! I am so excited, it's going to be TONS of fun!!!

Anyway, today I am excited to be hosting a mini challenge....

So, here's the deal...

We all have a favorite book, right?
We all have a favorite character, right?

What I want you to do, since I am a lover of all things music and photo related is to pick one - or both - and put them together!!

Does that make sense? HMM, lets see if I can explain better, basically pick your favorite book and/or character and pair it with a song and/or photo that reminds you of the person or setting in the book!

Then come back here, and leave a comment with your post url, twitter link or whatever to be entered to win! (Don't forget to leave your email address, or make sure it's available in your blogger profile, if I can't contact you, you can't win!)

You read that right, entered to WIN! Any book of your choice, via Book Depo (so it's international!!!) up to a 20 dollar limit!

So, get out there, get searching...and later today, check back to see my very own entry, but don't worry, I can't win the prize!

Winner will be chosen at random on the 16th!

  31. One of my favorite recent books was Ten Cents a Dance by Christine Fletcher. The perfect music is the big band tune Sing, Sing, Sing! It's mentioned in the book, so it's not an original thought, but the music bumped around in my head all through the book!
    I searched long and hard for a picture of the Trocadero Ballroom(at Elitch Gardens in Denver where I worked as a teen) that was my perfect picture of this story, but the closest I came was the theater at:

  46. One of my favorite books is THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER the song that remains me of this book and character Charlie is Blackbird by The Beatles. Yes, this song is also a song that is mentioned in the book.
